Whether Leopard, Puma, Panzerhaubitze 2000, or future platforms such as the Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 – modern tanks and combat vehicles have to react quickly to environmental conditions. Precise target acquisition, target tracking, and the correct positioning of the main armament all play a crucial role in military operations. To achieve this, the aiming devices and weapon systems need to be decoupled from the vehicle’s movements, in other words: perfectly stabilized. This is where GTD chaserv comes into play.

Modular and Precise: Crosshairs Always on Target
Military vehicles are designed for use on uneven terrain. The weapons they are equipped with must always aim precisely at the target, even when traveling at high speeds or in the event of recoil after a shot. VINCORION gun turret and weapon stabilization systems guarantee that this is always the case. Using our technical expertise in mechatronics engineering and the maintenance of military land systems, we have developed the perfect modular system specifically for this purpose. Thanks to this modularity, we can customize GTD chaserV at short notice to work with any platform for precise aiming, stabilization, and control of the weapon.
Leopard, Puma, and Panzerhaubitze 2000
Gun Turret Drive chaserV combines hardware and software for modular control units with scalable power electronics, gyroscopes, and electromechanical elevation and traversing drives. The result is a high-performance gun aiming and stabilization system that maximizes the probability of a first hit.
Thanks to easily configurable interfaces, the solution can be quickly integrated into various system architectures – it is used in both smaller launchers and in the medium to heavy armament of the Leopard 2 main battle tank, the Puma infantry fighting vehicle, and the Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzer. In this context, we can individually adapt the respective modules to fit the available installation space and integrate standard components such as sensors or operating elements into the system. Future models such as the Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 will also benefit from this modular system. The system meets the safety requirements of IEC 61508.
Whether Leopard, Puma, or future platforms: Thanks to its modularity, we can customize GTD chaserV to work with any platform for precise aiming, stabilization, and control of the weapon.
