To distribute heat evenly across the floor, the panel uses a PTC heat coating. Combined with surface-treated aluminum and fiberglass-reinforced plastic, it offers exceptional durability – cutting-edge technology for maximum comfort.

The power management system controls temperatures precisely – using either its own or third-party heating equipment. A network of multiple heaters and sensors ensures maximum efficiency, while the patented ARC tracking system detects potential short circuits at an early stage. The challenge: Constantly maintaining a comfortable floor temperature in the aircraft door and galley area is particularly challenging. This area of the aircraft floor is where extreme wear and tear and high heat requirements meet.

The solution: The FPH enduranceV heated floor panel meets all requirements for comfort, safety, and durability thanks to its composite heating-element design.

Protection Against Icing

The challenge: Ice buildup in lines, connectors, and sockets poses a serious safety risk in the world of aviation. This also applies to water connections and drainage systems.

The solution: Our heating element for the gray water drain mast protects against icing and is designed for the demanding operating conditions found in aviation.

Heated Floor Panel for Critical Areas in Aircraft

On medium-haul and long-haul flights, the floor near the aircraft doors cools down noticeably as temperatures outside drop to minus 50° C. A thermal bridge forms exactly where passengers go to the restrooms and crews work in the galley. VINCORION developed the FPH enduranceV heated floor panel specifically for these critical cold spots.

Unlike conventional sandwich panels, VINCORION uses a PTC-based heat coating instead of a conventional resistance heater with wires. As heating temperatures rise, the coating cools down, protecting the system from overheating. Featuring a special aluminum alloy from the shipbuilding industry, the FPH enduranceV releases roughly 85 percent of the heat generated inside upwards in a targeted manner. This noticeably increases comfort for passengers and crew.
