Germany’s Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) entrusted VINCORION with the development of a new generation of tactical power systems consisting of gensets and energy storage modules. Our heavy-duty, military-grade systems are specially designed to meet the requirements of the Bundeswehr and guarantee a stable supply of power – whether for combat and command posts, communication and surveillance systems, or IT and medical equipment. They offer unparalleled reliability and performance even in the toughest conditions, such as extreme cold, intense heat, and heavy dust exposure. As a result, VINCORION offers a state-of-the-art mobile power supply solution for the Bundeswehr.

Tactical Superiority with Modular Power Systems
As mission management and connectivity become increasingly digitalized, armed forces’ and civil protection agencies’ energy requirements are rising significantly. With its modular tactical power supply systems, VINCORION offers rugged, field-ready solutions for a wide range of applications.
Our gensets and power storage modules range from 20 kW for highly mobile applications to modular 50 kW and 200 kW units that can be flexibly combined to deliver a total output of over 1 MW. In field camp deployments, available energy sources, including the power grid and other technologies, can be easily integrated into the system. Regardless of the deployment scenario, our resilient systems combine tactical advantages with maximum energy efficiency.
Next-Level Power Supply
VINCORION uses Stage V engines with state-of-the-art exhaust gas aftertreatment for its efficient PGM low emissionsV gensets. Thanks to emission downgrade technology (MissionUpgrade), the systems comply with NATO’s Single Fuel Policy. This means that they can be used worldwide, even with poor-quality fuels in times of crisis. PGM low emissionsV is available in the 20, 50, and 200 kW power classes.
The integrated ESM hybridV energy storage modules featuring rugged lithium iron phosphate batteries serve as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). They also make it possible to feed in power flexibly from different energy sources, including the appropriate PGM low emissionsV gensets, the local power grid, and renewable energy sources such as solar panels and fuel cells. ESM hybridV is also available in the 20, 50, and 200 kW power classes.
What would happen if Germany suddenly lost power – not just for minutes, but for days? The Operation Plan Germany (OPLAN DEU) defines precautionary measures for critical infrastructure that particularly requires protection in the event of a crisis or defense situation – this includes substations and energy distribution networks, railroad switches, and pumping stations. However, systemically important production facilities must continue to be supplied with electricity, as do medical facilities and emergency shelters.
Our flexible gensets and energy storage modules are just as reliable in this deployment scenario. Our dual-use technology can be used by both military and civilian personnel, including the Bundeswehr, fire departments, and German’s Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW). An intuitive operating concept and automatic load distribution enable standardized use without any technical obstacles or the need to retrain emergency personnel.

Modular Integration for Maximum Resilience
Our power systems are highly flexible – they can be used individually, in parallel, or in ModularGrid mode comprising up to eight systems of different power classes.
All PGM low emissionsV gensets and ESM hybridV energy storage modules are intuitive to operate. In ModularGrid mode, a unified display module also ensures that all units are easy to manage. In this case, a control system developed by VINCORION uses intelligent power management to autonomously switch the systems on and off as required. This ensures that the system operates efficiently in line with the respective load profile, thereby saving fuel and reducing carbon emissions.
Rugged Systems for Every Challenge
The ModularGrid can be brought into operation quickly and meets the highest safety and fire prevention requirements, from the battery cell to the power storage container. High temperatures, sand, dust, and other environmental influences have zero effect on the military-grade systems. As a reliable partner from development to production and maintenance, VINCORION relies on a sustainable, established value chain and sources components from Europe whenever possible.
